Everyday Man Project - Jude R.

Welcome! The subject or model is Jude R. from Tampa, FL. He is a web designer and does photography on the side. I sent Jude a round trip bus ticket and he came to my house for the weekend. Jude has since modeled for other photographers, mostly friends of mine. We played around with rope and various cords as well as shadows. After the shoot, late into the evening, he asked me if I would model for him, which I did. We have done two photo shoots together, the second one in an abandoned building. It was freezing cold in the middle of winter but we bravely took off our jackets and took turns modeling for each other.

Everyday Man Project - Tony S

Welcome! The subject or model is Tony S. from Boston. He is an electrical engineer primarily in the semiconductor field.  Tony's hobby is directing an acappella singing group, singing a wide variety music from early music to modern, pop, jazz, folk, and spirituals. He also has a background in Gregorian Chant. I have shot Tony only once but we plan on doing another shoot next time I get to Boston. He said he grew up always too skinny and was amazed at how good I made him and his body look in the photos. We played around with lots of ideas to include doing double or triple images using mirrors. Although most of the images are shirtless, we did go through many outfits and changed clothes several times.

Everyday Man Project - Dave W

Welcome to the first post of The Everyday Man Project. The subject or model is Dave W. from Alaska. He is a construction worker and always sports a reddish-brown beard. During the Alaska winter he goes to the Antarctic to work since it is summer there. Dave loves to travel and between jobs has gone to explore many countries. I have shot Dave two times a year apart and will probably shoot him again. He is straight but open minded, explored many ideas with me and enjoys being in front of the camera.
